On October 17th, Greenfield Recorder featured an article highlighting the real-time cost control power that Meals Plus administrative software offers.
Union 38 School District of South Deerfield (MA) was losing more than $107,000 each year in all five of their lunch programs, while using educational dollars to supplement those programs. A July report estimated that the district could save more than $123,000 each year by making many small changes. Changes included transitioning to Meals Plus in the three schools that did not have it already, and ensuring the data from lunch counts, balances due and money collected will be computerized for more efficient record keeping.
“We’re getting more bang for our buck. I can go to sleep at night and say, ‘I did my job, I did my due diligence,’” said Superintendent Lynn Carey.

Meals Plus has been ranked 23rd in the world for award-winning customer service, as determined by the HDI Customer Satisfaction Index. The Meals Plus Technical Account Specialist Team was awarded a spot on the 2015 HDI CSAT Elite 50 for overall satisfaction ratings provided by our customers over a 12-month period.
HDI is the world’s largest professional association and certification body for technical service and support professionals. The fifty support centers with the highest scores are part of the Elite 50, and the ranking within the top fifty is based off of the average of the year’s responses to the fifth question on the survey: “How satisfied are you with the overall service experience?”
“We are extremely proud of our team,” said Meals Plus Vice-President Jeff Flynn. “We are dedicated to providing the best service to our customers day in and day out, and are honored to be recognized by a worldwide organization like HDI.”

At Meals Plus, we have a close relationship with our customers. Through random post-technical support call surveys and detailed bi-annual surveys, we have listened carefully to customer feedback. In fact, some of our software enhancements were suggestions by Meals Plus customers. We value your feedback, and look at it as a way to improve usability, functionality and overall, keep your lunchline moving.
So in an effort to further streamline the process of managing software enhancement requests, they can now be submitted via our Support Site and customers can even track the status of their enhancements with our new “Meals Plus Development Tracker” tool.
